Tour & Cruise in Greece & Turkey in Outside Stateroom

Ancient ruins, stunning scenery, sandy beaches, and the crystal-clear Aegean Sea…As cradles of civilization, Greece and Turkey offer all of this and more. On this Greece and Turkey tour and cruise, you’ll visit some of their most ancient sights and learn about their ancient and current cultures.

History comes alive on your visits to Athens’ Acropolis, still standing after 2,500 years. Dedicated to the goddess Athena, it’s a symbol of the wealth and power of Athens at its apex. At the Mycenae archaeological site, learn about the Mycenaean civilization as you enjoy guided sightseeing of the monuments erected here between 1350 and 1200 BC. Marvel at the perfect acoustics at the amazingly well-preserved, 2,300-year-old open-air theater in Epidaurus, and visit the archaeological museum of Vergina, which houses exhibits from the Macedonian period, including the tomb of Alexander the Great’s father (359-336 BC). Enjoy sightseeing in Philippi, built in 360-359 BC and where Apostle Paul founded the first European Christian Church. In Turkey, visit Troy, founded 4,000 years ago and today one of the world’s most famous archaeological sites.

Also visit historic sites during your 4-night Aegean Sea cruise. Cruise to Rhodes, one of Europe’s largest medieval towns with ramparts and palaces built during the Crusades, and Izmir, where you’ll take an excursion to Ephesus, with some of the world’s greatest ancient sights. Other stops include Santorini (weather permitting), still an active volcano with stunning views, and Mykonos, Greece’s most famous cosmopolitan island with a beautiful seafront village, sandy beaches, iconic windmills, and whitewash houses. Between islands, relax by the pool and sip a cool drink as you sail the deep-blue waters of the Aegean Sea.

From the ancient sights to the picturesque islands, this Greece and Turkey cruise and tour designed for value-minded travelers is a vacation of a lifetime!
